I don't want to go any further without acknowledging those who lost their lives in another senseless tragedy 14 years ago. It is September 11, which is a day we pay homage to those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center. God Bless!

Charleston Strong
Sometimes educators need to let loose and let there hair down...so to speak. We decided to go to Bottles and Brushes in Summerville, SC and participated in a painting party. Tonight's painting is of the famous Charleston Strong symbol in memory of the nine people who lost their lives in the Emanuel A.M.E Church shooting this summer. The Emanuel 9 will forever be engraved in Charleston's history as one of the worst acts of domestic terrorism. It affected so many of us in so many ways. I spoke about it briefly, in my first Currently post, shortly after it occurred. It was a time of sorry, but also a time of strength. Charleston showed the world that love will conquer all. We stand unified and we are Charleston Strong!
